Matthew 05 – Salt of the Earth and Light of the World
Deep Study
Salt (v. 13): Preserves, flavors, and creates thirst. Believers are called to preserve goodness and bring flavor to a decaying world.
Light (v. 14-16): A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Our good works should point people to the Father, not to ourselves.
Yeshua Connection:
Yeshua is the true Light of the World (John 8:12). We reflect His light as we live out the Beatitudes.
Key Truth:
We are not called to blend in but to influence and illuminate the world for God’s glory.
