** Treasure Valley Fox - The Wicket Gate**
“Test all things. Hold fast to what is good.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:21 NKJV
The Clever Fox and the Cracks in the Religious System
A clever fox does not storm the front door of the henhouse. He quietly finds the cracks — the weak or inconsistent places where light is already getting through. He slips in, takes one egg at a time, and carries it to freedom.
This is the simple heart behind “The Way”.
The Quiet Strategy
Many sincere people live inside religious systems that feel safe and strong on the outside. They are taught that salvation comes through faith plus works, plus ordinances, plus prophets, plus additional scriptures. But the Word of God reveals the cracks.
The fox does not tear the whole structure down. He simply shines the light of Scripture into the places where the system does not line up with the Bible. One verse. One honest question. One story from Pilgrim’s Progress that mirrors a seeker’s own journey. One gentle pointing to the narrow gate (Matt 7-13-14).
The egg is not stolen. It is rescued by truth. The door has been open all along — the door is Yeshua Himself (John 10:9).
Bull’s Eye
This analogy shows the purpose of “The Way”: to be a quiet, Scripture-filled tool that finds the gaps between false religious systems and the pure gospel of Yeshua. The fox does not create the cracks — the Word of God does. The fox simply walks through the light that is already there and carries burdened souls to the only safe place: Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone.
Yeshua is the Wicket Gate. Everything here exists to point people to Him.
Pilgrim’s Progress Reflection
Christian’s desperate run from the City of Destruction, the quick return of Pliable, and the smooth advice of Mr. Worldly Wiseman all show the same reality. False systems offer comfort and an easier path. Many begin the journey when their hearts are stirred, but turn back at the first difficulty or choose a broader, more comfortable way.
The fox approach is simply Evangelist’s method for today: find the awakened heart, point clearly to the narrow gate, and trust the Spirit to draw the soul out of darkness into light.
Deep-Study
Key Principle The cracks are revealed by the plain Word of God. The fox’s only wisdom is to walk through doors the Scripture has already opened (Matt 10:16).
Connection to Stage 1 Obstinate refuses to leave. Pliable starts but turns back. Mr. Worldly Wiseman offers religion without the Cross. The fox looks for the one whose heart is already troubled and quietly points him to the true Gate.
Warning The fox must never lie or manipulate. Stay humble. Stay prayerful. Give all glory to Yeshua.
Practical Tip for Treasure Valley When talking with LDS friends, don’t attack the whole system. Start with one crack — one clear verse or one relatable story. Carry one egg at a time. Let the Spirit do the heavy work.
Yeshua remains the Center. The fox is only a tool in His kind hands.
